- REMARKS: The value of option determines the function executed:
-
- NUm [ON!OFF] toggles the Num Lock state. The default is ON.
- CAp [ON!OFF] toggles the Caps Lock state. The default is ON.
-
- MOno switches the active display to a monochrome monitor.
- COlor [40!80] switches to a color monitor with the indicated width.
- SWap [CLEAR] toggles the active display to the inactive one and
- optionally clears the current screen before switching displays.

- DIal [[T!P]number] hangs up the phone or optionally touch or pulse
- dials the specified telephone number on Hayes compatible modems.

- BEep sounds a beep on the speaker.
-

- WAit [N] suspends execution for N seconds before continuing (N<6500).
-
- DU [d:] displays the characteristics of the specified drive.
-
- MU displays the maximum memory size, machine type, current memory
- utilization and available free space.

- VErsion displays the version of PCUTIL.

- SEtcolor [FIBIPI] sets the foreground, background and border colors
- on a color monitor. Color codes are substituted for F,B and P and
- L or 1 is substituted for I for low and high intensity.

- HElp or ? displays a help screen with the syntax for each option.

- SDir [d:][filename[.ext]] [/H] [/P] [option] displays a directory of
- the specified drive. /H includes hidden files and /P prints the
- directory list. The other options control the sort:/N by name
- (default), /E by extension, /D by date, /S by size and /U for none.

- PI option sets the modes on an IBM Graphics Printer. The options are:

- FF sends a form feed to advance one page.
- R resets the printer to power on settings.
- N resets the printer to normal characters.
- C turns compressed mode on (132 characters/line).
- E turns emphasized print mode on.
- DS turns on double strike mode (can be used with N,C,E and DW).
- DW turns on double wide print mode.
- U sets the printer to the unidirectional mode.
- C1 sets the printer to character set 1 (default).
- C2 sets the printer to character set 2.
- L6 sets the printer to 6 lines per inch.
- L8 sets the printer to 8 lines per inch.
- L0 sets the printer to 10 lines per inch.
- P6 skips perforations (66 line page, 6 lines skipped).
- P8 skips perforations (88 line page, 8 lines skipped).
- P0 skips perforations (110 line page, 10 lines skipped).
- N6 sets the printer to N, L6 and P6.
- N8 sets the printer to N, L8 and P8.
- C6 sets the printer to C, L6 and P6.
- C8 sets the printer to C, L8 and P8.
- TN sets the printer to tab every 8 positions for 80 column lines.
- TC sets the printer to tab every 8 positions for 132 column lines.
- SW swaps the software addresses of LPT1 and LPT2.
